I'm a commercial founder and operator working across energy, EVs and carbon. I live in London, and most of what I do sits somewhere between sustainability, energy markets, and getting useful things into the world.
I studied Geography at Edinburgh, where I wrote my dissertation on community-owned renewable micro-grids, then spent a year afterwards doing a permaculture course in Bristol. Since then I've been building and joining early-stage businesses in the energy transition.
I was an early hire at Abatable, a carbon finance platform. After that I co-founded Ecofit Homes, a UK retrofit data business that was acquired by Utilita Energy in 2025. Most recently I spent a year at Octopus Electric Vehicles working on cross-business strategy. These days I work independently, doing commercial and strategy work for seed-stage energy and cleantech businesses.
Outside of work, I'm usually outside. Trail running, mountain biking, photographing wildlife, or exploring somewhere new. I'm drawn to off-grid living and have a soft spot for electric classic cars.
If you're working on something in energy, EVs, or carbon (or you just want to talk through an idea), drop me a line.
